Our landlord sent us in to pick flooring for our whole house after it was smoke damaged in the CZU fire. We were asking for laminate in the dining room/kitchen area, and carpet in the rest of the home. The salesman Richard went straight to the high end laminate and when I asked to see other options was not given any, he said if the landlord wouldn’t pay he would suggest a cheaper alternative. We got the opposite response with the carpet, he would only show me the stock carpet, again I asked to compare options and he said anything else was too expensive for a rental. The laminate he showed us had a several week turn around time. When we finally returned home I actually cried, we waited weeks for this flooring and despite clarifying with both Richard and the man who measured that we were trying to do the full kitchen and dining area, only the very small kitchen area had been measured and installed with laminate. We were out of our home for weeks because we were waiting for the laminate to arrive and the small amount that was installed was definitely not worth waiting for.We had just painted the home due to the smoke damage and found yellow glue stains on most of the doors and baseboards of the home. Doors had been taken off the hinges for instalation and not reinstalled, this was especially problematic in our upstairs bathroom, where the new laminate is apparently higher than the old flooring, because the door no longer opens more than half way. The downstairs toilet was also removed to install the flooring and was not reinstalled properly and now wobbles regularly. To add insult to injury the cheap stock carpet has had multiple places where the tack strip was not bent/filed down resulting ininjury to myself and children. It also began showing sign of wear and matting in the high traffic area by the kitchen where we initially requested laminate within a few months which was the main reason we indicated we wanted laminate in that whole space. Overall we are very unhappy with both the sale and instalation and recommend everyone look elsewhere for flooring.

We purchased an area rug off the floor which was fine. We ordered two additional area rugs and were told the lead time would be 3-4 weeks. We had an event we wanted them for. We were told to call back after 2 weeks and get a delivery date. At that point we were told the rugs were back ordered and it would be 4-6 weeks, or maybe 8 weeks. I called back after 7 weeks and it took a week for the salesman to get an answer from the factory. The new deliver date was now a month away making for a 12 week lead time. The salesman wasn’t even remotely apologetic or diplomatic. I will never purchase carpet from these people again.
