We went to Walgreens and hit our vaccine as walk-in customer.

My daughter had an appointment for COVID 19 vaccination at 2 p.m . That was the only option given online for the time slot. She goes to school in person, when she came back from school we went for the vaccination and were late by couple of hours. The lady at the pharmacy told us that the shelf life of vaccination is limited and since we were late that’s why they gave the vaccination to someone else. ( May be true but never heard from anyone else in any other pharmacy) . We were told that wait for our call if someone else would miss the appointment she will call us. We went to Walgreens and hit our vaccine as walk-in customer. Although I did receive a call after two and half hours that we can bring our daughter if we need a vaccine but we informed her that we already got the vaccine from another pharmacy. I want to bring this thing to the notice of Rite aid what is being told to the customers when they get late. NO OTHER PHARMACY is given this answer I have asked my classmates and friends who reached late but still got the vaccine rightaway.
