They are the only store in town that carries ProPlan dog and cat food.

The store was well kept clean, and the products were easy to find. As well with the products being easy to find, they were also placed in easy to find according to the type of animal or otherwise pet you have. Very kind and for the most part the employees were able to answer all my questions. The questions that they weren’t able to answer, I was given information on how I could go about getting the answers I was looking for.

Kids love to come here to check out the latest in fish and other animals. The assistant was very helpful and graciously informative to the youngsters who were popping questions right and left.

I’ve gone here for years, they have always had excellent service. However today I arrived at an appointment for my dog, who’s original appointment was canceled by them earlier in the month when I booked her and her brother together for a grooming appointment, to be told she couldn’t be groomed. My work schedule and being on a midshift is difficult enough, so I was not pleased when I arrived during the time I should be sleeping, to drive a half hour to Fairbanks when my dog gets car sick so often, just for them to ask for my dogs rabies vaccination on the day of my appointment instead of prior, when she’s been going there since she was a pup. She apparently expired 10 days ago. Not only was the lady rude (who I’ve never seen here before, she must have been new), I thought it unprofessional to wait until a person arrives at their appointment to ask the question that could have been made in advance. I’ll take the blame for not having the up to date rabies shot (which was a one time deal for my male dog who’s rabies shot was good for three years). My female isn’t even a year and a half yet. Perhaps there’s some confusion in which I can accept being at fault, for some things. However, the attitude, and the “you can call the vet or I can”, and the “make sure you put it on speaker so we can both listen”, unacceptable. It’s not always what you say, but the way you say it. Treat people with respect. It bothers me that this could have all been avoided by requesting this in advance, instead of the day of an appointment. I get it, people have rules to follow, understood. However had they not cancelled the appointment I had prior due to their mishap of scheduling, she would have been up to date and had been groomed earlier in the month. The attitude and unwillingness to work with customers was really what drove my decision to *never* bring my dogs here again. You hate to see it, but this is the behavior that make or breaks relationships.
