As always, they had a quick and efficient solution. They were very polite and personable.

It was one of those everything breaks at once days. On the long list of to-do’s was getting a replacement SIM card. The nearest Verizon store wasn’t near at all, but I had to have my phone working to call everyone else on the list to explain why I was late.So you know I wanted to be in and out in a hurry. I also know that the pace inside a Verizon store can be very relaxed, laid back… Like molasses when I’m hurried. This is a corporate store – and it has met the challenge of COVID versus trying-out-a-new-device in a winning way.I was screened outside – it was quick but I didn’t get my hopes up until inside. While seated comfortably away from the other customers, I could still easily see all the new devices. My device had its SIM card replaced in about 5 minutes. So quickly that I had time (no I didn’t, but hey) to ask about the specs on a phone.Meanwhile, the more solvent customers were being guided through browsing new devices by staff behind well designed lucite panels that seemed to be part of the store’s design rather than a recently erected barrier. The speed of service seemed to adjust itself to my needs – maybe I was expecting a long wait and was just surprised. But I don’t think so. The Verizon franchise store that was near me is gone. But even when it still existed and was a cool store with cool staff, I didn’t get the individualized attention I received at this store.

Got a message that my phone is ready to pick up. Arrived 30 min before the closure (5:30PM) and there was nobody, they just locked the door. The order was made in the morning, and it was a present for my son that day. In the order at 9AM Verizon mentioned it would be ready within two hours, we waited for the ready message for the hole day, and once we arrived we found that the store just decided to close earlier without any notice. Good job verizon by doing things on time.
