Descender selection wasn’t great but the staff was super helpful. Snagged a SAM splint on clearance so that was cool.. Kids loved all the camping stuff, always happy to see them get jazzed about outdoor stuff.. Happy to have them in the Ham

Sadly, this place will not last long here. I have loved REI stores in other cities for a very long time. So it’s something specific to this store.Physically, the store is great, very nice and new, good inventory.The problem is the staff. This has been my exact experience every time I have visited. I walk in, there is a group of workers standing around conversing. No acknowledgement from them. I’m shopping for something and need help, but I can’t find anyone else so I go back to the workers talking, ask for help, then get a very rude reaction. So all three times I have been here, I wind up just leaving and buying it on the internet. I guess it’s cheaper they anyway.

Good selection of quality outdoor equipment and gear. Gracious return policy I believe is due to they stand by the quality of their gear. Not cheap but great service.
