I have been going to Ventura Bike Depot for several years, and have always had a great experience. Beginning with the purchase of a commuter bike in 2006 and several bike purchases last year. However, as much as getting a great deal on a sparky new bike is just awesome, the customer service is where this shop shines. I can get a cool new bike just about anywhere…..but….I can’t walk into Amazon with my cousin looking for a cotter pin to piece together an old unicycle we found and were refurbishing, explain to the repair tech what we needed, then he rummages through a parts bin, come up with the part, and wouldn’t charge us for it because it was just an old part he happened to have. We simply could not have finished that build without it. Every time I’ve been there, that is the level of customer service I’ve received.

Has to be 5 stars hands down. I recommend Bike Depot to anyone I know, anyone i meet for that matter. Their attention to detail, speed of service, selection, pricing, putting customers first, courtesy service, taking time to explain things, great deals… what more can I say? Did I miss any details? Oh yeah- Just checked online. Guess who’s the only bold and brave bike shop open on weekends? That’s right- Ventura Bike Depot. Man o man there are no negatives to this place. I sound like I’m rubbing it in (I am) but guess what- it’s all true. Come by and do a test ride sometime (My brother wants to order a bike online and get it sent in pieces, so I told him to come at least see what’s out there. He thanked me after). You’ll be glad you tried it too.
