Soooo worth the visit! Plenty of gardens to walk through including. Tea garden, Japanese and Chinese garden, rose garden (favorite), herb garden, and desert garden etc. Bring really good walking shoes and a hat! I saw many people just reading or doing yoga on the lawn because it’s the most peaceful place ever! Also, not too crowded because they have a max capacity.

Came after it reopened. Masks required and precautions are taken within the library. Some galleries were opened and they limit the amount of people that can go in. The tea room is still closed but the cafe right near the entrance is opened. The library is huge and may take a whole day if you want to walk through the whole garden. There are bag checks in the beginning.

A must see, a must experience. We went on 5/29/21 with a 10am reservation time. Gorgeous grounds! We saw The Blue Boy first; we were the only ones in there! We chose to upgrade to the yearly admission because we loved the experience so much. Also, save about an hour for the gift shop. It’s more than amazing! The manager should be very proud. Overall, a true gem in the Greater LA area. Also, we saw a wild red crowned Amazon (parrot) on the grounds. We checked with an employee and they verified it!
