The place is really clean and nice atmosphere and staff were super friendly.

Food is so so, prices are high and portions are small.
Alison
Great sandwiches, soup, fries, burger, and hot fresh cookies.

Roast Beef Dip. The Bentley. And the Veggie Sandwich Bohemian were all delicious

Delicious food. Quite the variety to choose from. The ambience is great and so is the staff. Zachary was very knowledgeable of the menu and was extremely nice! The Crabcake Salad was delicious and I loved the mixed greens they chose! Excellent portions to prices and this is not your normal sandwich shop. Very eccentric and eclectic. Definitely worth a try while you are in Burbank!

Look. Generally when I have a bad experience I refrain from leaving negative reviews to give folks the benefit of the doubt. I understand the restaurant business is tough and it’s hard to recover from a cursory glance of poor reviews. But my experience here was so egregious I had to leave my first Google review ever.I have NEVER met a more incompetent group of host/ess/cashiers/servers in my life. It was taking an interminable amount of time to help the one customer ahead of us and we soon found out why. The folks had trouble explaining what the difference between side dishes and add on dishes was. They prodded us towards the add on dishes that were extra by presenting them as choices together. When we realized what the distinction was we corrected our orders, but for some reason rather than deleting the items they cancelled our order and restarted. +5 min. Maybe this was an archaic software they were using but what happens next leads me to believe this was human error. After corrections, The total came out to $30 for two sandwiches. Somehow when we corrected him in pointing out we didn’t order two grilled cheeses, just one, the cost went up. Math. +5 minThe cashier kept asking for us to “pay now” and asking for our card and we kept repeating that he had already taken our card and gestured to him HOLDING OUR CARD. +2 minIn between this there was a lot of idle time of the people looking at the cash register and then looking at each other and then looking at us as if we could do anything. +5 minAlso, by the time our food came out they had made a mistake by giving us chips instead of the side salads we had ordered. At this point we were too annoyed to complain and send it back and just left. I am all for raising the minimum wage to $15/hr. I understand it’s hard to make a living in this industry. But when they seemed annoyed at us on behalf of their own ineptitude I seriously reconsidered my position and can start to understand why others are pushing back too.
