The new owners have done an outstanding job of updating the place. It is super clean and everyone is easy to deal with. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I have personally seen the owner working for many hours on the landscaping and doing a great job all by himself. I have camped here since the 70s and this store has never been better.

I shopped at this store a few times buying a hat and potato chips. Apparently, it’s new or under new ownership. The staff was putting up more tables.Note: The beach view is very nice and the lot is clean. The store is small with a limited item selection and did not carry several items I wanted to buy. There are a large number of outdoor tables with large umbrella covering.I thought the staff could be more friendly. The other negative is prices are very high taking advantage of the captive camper market. It would be more ethical(also considering the economic situation) to offer some lower priced, sale items, not just overcharge for everything. My chips cost about double 7-11 prices and the campground is charging an extortionate $40-50 per space.Since this is a public campground, this business should be more ethical with prices they charge.
