Excellent neighborhood Stop and Shop. I’ve been living in Queens since 1969 and my complaint is that we don’t get the service and quality in black areas that is common in white areas. So I must keep it real by saying this store is a delight. The people are friendly and the customer service good. The place is clean and well organized. I was not a fan of the one line system but that has gone away. I’m impressed with the quality of the fish which is fresh. The store is well stocked and the owner seems like he really wants to do the right thing. So good things can occur in the hood when people try.

I absolutely love it here. Not only can you buy food here but they have a Western Union so you can send money and buy money orders and store also has greeting cards and books as well as pharmacy items.. They have a great bakery section as well as a deli and a fresh fish section. They offer fresh made salads and other ready made dishes you can heat up and they have rotisserie chicken as well as great fried chicken and there are plenty of deals to take advantage of such as the Stop and Shop products they sell. There are always nice cab drivers in front so it’s not necessary to call a car service and wait outside. All in all a good experience.
