This place is awesome. A blast to the past. Very cool to sit and eat here. Definitely a nice local owned business. The food is great. Second time here and plan to return whenever I am in Galveston.

I came here for breakfast with 3 other people and had a great experience. Our server Summer was very sweet and a delight. While we waited for our food, I explored the different decor and items on sale throughout the restaurant, including on the second floor. I ordered the Island Chicken Curry Sandwich and really enjoyed it! They have a decent number of options on the menu, so you’re sure to find something you may like.I think it’s so cool that this was the very first drug store in Texas, and you can even purchase some over the counter medicine like Advil on your way out. I also really admired the Thanksgiving-themed decor. My friend told me that they decorate the place very well for Halloween, so I’d love to come back next October. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Four of us were hangry so we gave this place a try. One of us enjoyed a Rachel, a turkey sammich, A couple of us went with a salad medley, tuna, pimento and chicken salad…..these were liked but not loved, I hadn’t had a burger in a while so I snarfed a cheeseburger and my choice of cheese was blue, I did love mine….the crumbled blue cheese was tasty. The New Orleans chicory coffee with milk over ice was pretty good. The had a lot of stuff for sale, from purses to night lights, they even have a second floor with these knicknacks.
