Was told at a Jeep dealership that I had an exhaust leak and would probably need a catalytic converter as well. Called around to several local muffler shops and when I spoke to Ruben, he gave me a ballpark quote that was less than the others. I arrived and he came and put my Jeep on one of the shop racks, pointed out a loose coupling behind the catalytic converter and agreed that I had an exhaust leak. I gathered a few items out of my Jeep and went into the waiting area of his shop. In less than 10 minutes, he walked in, said the leak was fixed, and that I was ready to go! Said that IF the code showed back up, he’d be happy to install the converter, but said that I probably didn’t need one to begin with. When I asked to pay for his time and service, he shook my hand and said “no charge”. I’d recommend anyone who reads this to visit “The Muffler Shop” in Lufkin for anything you may need done to your vehicle. The site only allowed 5 stars but the customer service is an easy 10!
