We have stayed in two equity apartments. This is by far the worst equity community. Walls and floors are really thin. You can hear every plane taking off or landing at SFO. Besides that the community here is not nice and they don’t respect their neighbors. We were always waken up by our neighbors’ loud arguments or by their loud music. The apartment managers don’t do anything for noise complaints besides sending their reminder about quite hours. When you complain about this in person, the people at the office just say let me talk about this to my manager and then they never follow up. We were asked to pay $800 more than the apartment prices posted on their website for our renewal so we moved out. They also charge a fortune for cleaning (which they tell you they will charge no matter if you leave it clean or dirty) and painting when you move out. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this community.

Spacious apartment with some renovated units.Close to BART but not needed in Covid time.Very noisy with extremely thin walls.WATCH OUT – They’ll charge you hundreds for painting and carpet cleaning when moving out.

We’ve lived here for about a month now. We’ve enjoyed the convince of the location, and we love our apartment. We were fortunate to be able to move into a newly renovated unit. The only major issue we’ve had is our apartment takes forever to get hot water. They have told us this is an issue with end unites, and that they’ve made attempts to fix it in the past, but they don’t seem to have worked. We have to wait several minutes for our water to get hot and typically whoever takes the first shower gets a cold one. We made a maintenance request when we first moved in, but it has taken several weeks for them to get back to us.They finally came out with a device that would be installed that was supposed to help heat the water faster, but it didn’t work as well as hoped. We really want to be able to give 5 stars because the staff here is friendly and the apartment and location are nice, but it’s very frustrating to have such issues with water temperature. Especially in the winter. And we feel like we’re wasting so much water waiting for it to warm up. I’m pretty anxious for our water bill. For those looking to move in here, as long as you don’t have an end unit like ours hopefully you should be okay. Management here is friendly and maintenance seems to be doing all they can, but I’m not sure they’re being given enough support from upper management to truly be able to solve the problem.
