I absolutely love the location which prevents me from giving Sofi one star.

After moving out, I received a charge for carpet cleaning.

What was Michelle’s response when we advised her of this?

At first, we loved living at this property. The street was great, the community was amazing, and the customer service was beyond reproach. Then it all changed when the current property manager (Michelle) took over. She was not helpful or accommodating at all. We had chronic problems with the noise levels of our downstairs neighbor. They were constantly slamming doors and yelling/fighting at the top of their lungs. We had the call security and the police on them on multiple occasions. What was Michelle’s response when we advised her of this? “Well I sent an email and they didn’t respond so there isn’t much more we can do about it”. This is absolutely pathetic management. Legally there is plenty of actions she could take, but because she is too afraid of liability, she refused to take any action….very disappointing…as soon as our lease was up we left as soon as possible.P.S……they also threw away our personal property and blamed us for “abandoning it”. They finally made it right by paying us back, but it was a long proses of discussions and emails.

The location of these apartments is fantastic. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was not so good. After the first year, I was hit with a VERY substantial rent increase. After moving out, I received a charge for carpet cleaning. I received a letter dated March 9th, 2020, showing a balance of $112.20. My bank records show that I made the payment online on March 19th (10 days after date on letter, and 17 days after I moved out on March 2nd). Nevertheless, they sent the debt to collections, and I have now been harassed several times by debt collectors. A total bunch of B.S. Not good.

I lived there in 2017 for the whole year. The neighbors are very nice and peaceful. I don’t see any crime or even a fight during my stay. The apartments were old, so you have to be patient about frequently fixing of elevator, and not very fresh air in hallways. I would have given 4 stars if the leasing office has solved the problem of weed smokers even I have reported multiple time. I didn’t want to report to police even I could. I usually open the window to get fresh air. Then after 6 months of living, I guess someone new moved in below me, and started to get weed smokes into my room every evening and night. I couldn’t get fresh air anymore. It is ILLEGEAL to use things like weed, or etc… in Belmont!
