We got my fiance’s Sherwani and a lehenga for me from Shehnai and we were very satisfied with the selection and customer service here. It was nice to have an appointment reserved for us to find our outfits without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. The staff were super helpful and attentive to our requests, and they got our alterations done extremely quickly. Most importantly, the quality of the clothes we purchased was great, and the prices more reasonable than some other places we’ve seen in the Bay Area. I’d highly recommend Shehnai for all your Indian clothing needs!

Probably the best place to get bridal wear for men and women. I recently got married and Shehani was our go-to place for mine and my wife’s bridal wear.Their selection is great, but I had something specific in mind for my wedding sherwani and reception jodhpuri. They were very open to having that custom made for me. I was nervous at first because I was agreeing to something that couldn’t touch and feel, but both pieces came out excellent. Once they arrived in ~5 or so weeks, we made a few tweaks, and it was good to go!I received so many compliments on my outfits for the wedding – even professionals like my wedding planner and other wedding vendors were impressed by the quality of the work. Would highly recommend working with them for all your wedding needs.

I had ordered a sherwani for my wedding from India but when it arrived it was way too small. Two months out I drove down the Shehnai to find something locally after hearing about it from a friend.Overall the experience was terrific. I was able to call ahead and get a sameday appointment to look at some styles. They have a great selection with modern options, and the staff was helpful and patient with me throughout the process.They even stayed late to hem the pants while we waited so we didn’t need to make another trip down from SF. Great experience, highly recommend!
