Shake Shack is a modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its delicious burgers, chicken, and flat-top hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine, and way more. We pride ourselves on sourcing incredible ingredients and ensure that ALL our meat is antibiotic- and hormone-free. Our burgers are made with 100% Angus beef that’s humanely raised, veggie fed, and source verified. Our chicken is white meat that’s never frozen. Our hot dogs? 100% beef from the pros at Vienna® Beef in Chicago. Our fries are golden potatoes with no trans fats. And our vanilla and chocolate frozen custards only use real sugar (no high-fructose corn syrup) and milk from dairy farmers who pledge not to use artificial growth hormones.

Hip, counter-serve chain for gourmet takes on fast-food classics like burgers & frozen custard.

We all know Hamburgers are very controversial subject. I was surprised to see the recent negative reviews — many of which seemed to be related to the corporate online ordering system. Undeterred by those reviews, we visited this past weekend and I’m glad we did! We ordered online, and our food was hot/fresh and ready in a mere 12 minutes, as promised — so it seems like any online ordering bugs have been resolved. The staff and order pickup system at the restaurant were organized and everything was great. Even if there had been a wait…this is a crazy time to be in the restaurant business, so we’re happy to be patient when things go a little sideways. The new spicy chicken sandwich and spicy cheese fries were solid, with a pretty good kick to them!

Gotta taste of Shake Shack in Philly a few years back, and now they are here in the bay area!Visited their Stanford location, had a grass fed beef bacon and avocado burger, mango-lemonade really good drink, and some fries all very delicious.Store was clean, team was friendly and I could not be happier, kudos to the team for a job well done!

Fresh patties, yummy bun, vegetarian and chicken options, keto friendly (lettuce wrap avail). It’d be 5 stars if the prices weren’t so high. Over $3 for small fries??!!
