Amazing craftsmanship.

I’m Gina’s student at Sew Far Sew Good, learning everything I can about upholstery. All the pictures I posted are of my various student projects– not of Gina’s work, which is much better. This is the ONLY upholstery school easily driveable from Oakland and San Francisco.Class is from 5-9 on Wednesday and 9-2 on Saturday. It’s simple- you bring a project to reupholster, the new material, a notebook and a pencil and you can get started the same day by borrowing tools at the shop.Class rates are only 10$ per hour. To study with a craft MASTER with 30 plus years in the industry. You only pay for the hours you’re in class. 1 hour? 10 bucks…3, 30….Some of the students have been coming here to the workshop for years and they’re amazing and creative in their own right.Gina is a great teacher. She’ll show you anything you need to learn, and you’ll love her as she’s doing it.
