Nice to have these farmers market aback , feels like going back to normal , seeing people w their kids shopping for fresh seasonal food. Only wish had more vendors of vegetables , not all organic , organic has an extra cost

Wanted to check out San Leandro’s Farmer Market and what it had to offer. This is a wonderful farmer’s market in downtown San Leandro. It is opened on Wednesdays from 4-8pm. There is an abundant amount of merchants who are selling organic produce, fruits, eggs, flowers, desserts and ready made food. I gotta make a shout for Alonso’s Food! He was really nice, patient and answered all my questions with a smile on his face. He sells breads, assorted pastries, ready made pizzas, empanadas and cookies. You want it, he got it. I can vouch that his products are top notch! Too bad he doesn’t have a retail store, but he also sells at Bayfair’s Farmer Market on Saturday from 9am-1pm. There is a small parking lot and ample street parking. Just be aware that some have meters while others a couple of steps away do not.

Not as crowded in years past, but it’s 2021, so it’s to be expected. I am happy a weekday farmer’s market is available again.
