Just picked up a pair of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever bought! Thank the lord that this store opened up in Portland. I’ve been settling for lesser quality work boots for quite some time now, and I’m really kicking myself for not trying Red Wings sooner. I’m not exaggerating when I say that they are the most comfortable boots. Until now, I’ve never been able to make it through a 12-hour shift without some kind of pain in my feet. The slightly higher price for these boots is negligible, considering the quality is noticeably superior to the big box retail brands. You also get something here that you don’t at the big brand stores, and that’s exceptional customer service! I don’t know what the other reviewer was smoking, but I had a great experience when I was there. The manager greeted me as I walked in and was very attentive. She was very knowledgeable and explained the differences in several of the different boots. She was very patient, too, as I must have tried on ten different pairs before finding to perfect fit. I never felt rushed even though there were several other people in the store. I know it wasn’t just me, as she was just as friendly and helpful to them as she was to me. I will definitely shop here again and you should feel confident in doing the same!

This store has very knowledge staff and they proved they are subject matter experts. When I arrived I began choosing shoes and instructed that I need a pair of my current size. Without hesitation the saleswoman, Angelica, grabbed the shoes I requested, but before I put them on she measured my feet. It turned out I was a different shoe size than what I normally wear. Then she verified my company’s shoe requirement and provided me with the shoes that I would be eligible to purchase. While, I waited I was allowed to charge my phone on their charger. I sincerely want to thank the staff working at the store for professionalism and working diligently to ensure I receive the best customer service. Thank you.

My husband left his old Red Wing boots with many miles on them for repair (new heels and repaired stitching) and purchased another pair just like them in a different color. He was so happy that Red Wing offers boot repair done through the factory so he didn’t have to seek an outside repair service. Angelica measured his foot precisely to ensure a proper fit. The new boots fit him perfectly right out of the box so he hd no reservations at all about purchasing them. It has been about 3 weeks now, he has worn them everyday, and he says they still feel great! We cannot say enough good things about the quality of the boots or the customer service provided by Angelica! She had worked with me online before Christmas for a gift certificate which turned out to be a nice surprise for him. He was so pleased the same work boots were still available when he finally decided it was time to go shopping. Kudos to Red Wing for quality products and staff. Keep up the good work!
