I have problems with the current state of Red Wing’s quality, but this review is exclusive to the customer service at the Millbrae location. LARRY, the manager, for lack of a better term is an absolute CLOWN! On multiple occasions I have brought boots in for repair, and the addition of a Tuff Toe cap. Each occasion dealt with Larry. And on each occasion, my boots were not completed/fixed by the date given by the man doing the work. One time, I understand. Twice, there’s a problem.But the cherry on top, was showing up to pick them up after the delay, only to have Larry be completely disrespectful. As a municipality employment, I understand the importance of a ‘lunch break’. But if I show up to the door as you are walking out, don’t be disgusted for having to walk back 15ft. to grab my boots. Takes two seconds and negative review averted. Figure it out….clown!
