This is because walk-ins tend to cluster in early morning due to fasting.

Fast and great services.Pro-tip from the nurse (Clint) who helped me today- always make an appointment if you can, or come in between 9-11 in the morning. This is because walk-ins tend to cluster in early morning due to fasting.

I’m not one to post bad reviews normally, but the experience at this Quest diagnostics location left me speechless, so I think I have to share. This is posted from an anonymous account because this can obviously be traced back via check-in information from the clinic.I had an appointment scheduled, but arrived an hour early and checked in (this was last week), I thought that maybe I’d be able to be seen early, but judging by the amount of people in the waiting room that was unlikely, I was happy to wait for my original time.In the span of an hour in the waiting room several walk-ins came and went before I was seen – not abnormal, I thought since I had an appointment I’d be seen at the time I scheduled. The time tracker they had is nothing but misleading, it jumped from 5 minutes to 10+ minutes back to 5 several times, but this is where the troubles only began. One of the doctors was very public in discussing confidential matters in the full waiting room with other patients – one of them had a stool sample that needed to be delivered – how do I know this? Because it was very loudly communicated in the waiting room, and more than that, patients were constantly asked if they had health insurance and all their papers in the waiting room – there was no check in assistant at the desk, just a tablet for check-ins, and I felt secondhand embarrassment for all these people. One lady in particular had to deliver a urine sample but the bathroom in the quest diagnostics is OUT OF ORDER! So she had to go to a different location and walk all the way back to the quest diagnostics for this sample to be delivered. I had only noticed this later, but this was the same case for the lady with the stool sample…So, discounting those issues, what else could go wrong? Well, the waiting room was empty by the time my appointment was supposed to arrive, bar a walk-in that had arrived twenty minutes earlier. five minutes pass, nothing, the tracker still said 5 minutes on the TV they have – another 5 minutes passes – the walk-in get’s called in and by then I’d had enough of waiting and witnessing the malpractice in this clinic. So, to summarize, not only was patient confidentiality completely violated -Scheduling appointments in advance does nothing, and the tracking timer is meaningless. The doctors will see you in whatever order the see fit, blatantly lying about giving priority to people with appointments.I’d rather schedule my next medical someplace I know follows best practices, shame on this location, I decided I did not want this place to treat me in any way!

No wait at 8:30 AM on a Tuesday. Clint was professional and efficient. Painless and quick!
