Where to begin with this terrible experience. I frequented their previous location FriscoRX and was treated as a valued customer and my prescription was always ready the day it was called in. Communication between Akin and I was always consistent so I knew where I stood with my medication. Fast forward to 2021, I found their new location and was elated as I knew Akin would come through for me once again. Boy was I wrong. My doctor sent my prescription late morning on Tuesday 1/19/21 so I decided to call in the afternoon to speak to Akin. He was not available at the moment so the female that I spoke with took down my number and stated that he would call me back that same day. No return call. No problem, I figured he was busy so I called him the following morning and he told me that he was working on my prescription as we speak. I was thrilled to hear this and had confidence that I would have my medicine in my hands in a few hours. End of business hours nears and nothing, no update. Unusual to say the least but I remained positive that everything would be ok the next day. I called and was told that we’re getting close to having it ready. Rinse and repeat each day. I called every single day and was told similar things by Akin, “it should be ready today” or “let me check, give me about an hour”. At this point, my gut was telling me that I was never going to get my prescription but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt considering our long standing relationship from years prior. It’s been over a week now and as of today 1/27/21, not only am I still empty handed but I have not heard back from Akin since my last update on Friday morning 1/22/21. Crickets. I threw in the towel and had to call my doctor to move my prescription elsewhere. Disappointment, frustration, time wasted, are just a few ways to describe the experience with this pharmacy. What was once a 5 star experience on many occasions has dwindled down to 1 star. I’m a man of principle and believe that you should say what you mean and mean what you say. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
