I came by to get a heel repaired. The owner was rude from the start. He did not greet me and seemed annoyed at my request for a heel repair. He rudely uttered a partial sentence they come in pairs…when I tried to clarify, again he showed his annoyance . I walked out without using his services. I don’t care if he is the best in the business, I would rather walk on broken heels that use his services

I have taken many pairs of boots here and the man is an artist. He’s resurrected many of them from the brink of death and made them new again. I find him to be a very nice person as well. Always. I dont understand the bad reviews. Some people are never happy I guess. You get what you give right? I think he’s terrific.

If I could give him minus stars I would. He ruined a really good pair of Montrail hiking boots. Took them in to have the soles replaced. He charged me $74.96 up front. Picked them up today, and he had replaced them with the wrong type of soles! They have almost zero grip, and they are no longer comfortable to wear. The reason I spent this much on replacing the soles is because of how comfortable these boots were before he ruined them. These were not cheap boots! He told me that they don’t make small enough vibram soles for my size boot. Nonsense! They do. He told me to bring him the soles, and he would put them on. I asked him to refund my money, and he refused. I was not going to have to pay for the soles I would have to buy myself, as I doubt he would have reimbursed me. Fortunately, I charged this amount to my credit card, and the bank will now go after Petaluma Fast Shoe (and rip-off) Repair. Buyer Beware! I try to shop local, but I will never do business with this business again.
