I bought a laptop from them online as a birthday gift and picked it up in the store. Imagine my surprise when 2 days after gifting it , I’m told that the laptop will not power on!! They charged it for hours, thinking that maybe it just didn’t have any battery life, but nothing would make it turn on. So I took it back to the location I picked it up at. They could not get it to turn on either and tried to exchange it with a different brand/spec of laptop that they had available in the store. (Nothing even close to the amount of memory the one I bought had). I declined and was adamant that I wanted the laptop I had purchased. They didn’t have it at that store and they don’t have a way to ship products between stores. They told me that someone from the store would have to go and get it from another store but it was basically an inconvenience for them to do so, so I would have to go and get it exchanged at the other store myself!!! So I ask them to call the other store just to make sure it’s in stock and that I won’t have any issues with the exchange when I get there. The store manager makes the call and I can hear her say as she’s walking away that this is the 2nd problem they’ve had just this week like this! (I assume with laptops not working) When she gets off the phone I’m told that I’m all set to go pick it up, but I cannot exchange the item. I would have to return the purchase and re-purchase the laptop that I wanted. The total was a little more than $600, so I’d either have to wait until the return cleared my account and go back again to purchase it or find another way to pay for the new one. I chose to return the item and shop for a laptop elsewhere. This company has ridiculous policies and it’s employees have no regard for your time or inconvenience when purchasing a product that should have zero problems straight out of the box! That alone is enough to make me never want to shop there again!

Friendly service and clean, but their priceing is a little high. Dont see how they sale so much with walmart being across the street. Other than the priceing. Its a great store.

If there was a minus number I would rate the service lower than one star. I wanted to get my virus card laminated. The cashier made a copy of my card and handed me a laminate sheet. I said i don’t understand, the promotion said Office Depot will laminate the Covid Card. She said go over to that table and pointed to a table with a laminate machine on it, nobody was there to assist. A manager passed me, and didn’t say a word, the cashier had left her post. Two other employees ignored me as they passed by. I took my unused laminate sheet and handed it back to the clerk behind the copy desk. She said thank you. In addition to the service being substandard, I can see where there might be a case for false advertising. Office Depot says they will laminate the Virus Card. That is not the case.
