Went in looking for a specific deck and they unfortunately don’t carry them anymore but didn’t leave unsatisfied. Ended up getting a complete skateboard with an APRIL deck and it just so happened that the professional who’s board I bought was in the store and signed it for me. It was a pretty awesome experience. My inner child was screaming for sure. I would recommend checking this store out for anyone looking for a good selection.

So I stumbled upon this shop while on my way somewyand the only thing that gave it away that it was a skate shop was the advertisements plastered on the building so that was…interesting. Had to look it up and found out it was this shop, whatever the name is I forgot lol. So I peak inside and there’s this barrier blocking the entrance. I was walking behind a couple and this man with a hat and eye glasses lets them in by moving the barrier. Doesn’t say a word to me as He blocks me from coming in. So I’m like hm.. interesting. Then it dawned on me that there was a sign that said “MAX CAPACITY: 2”. So I peak in while waiting to see if there is in fact 2 ppl in there. THERE WERE 4 CUSTOMERS IN THERE. Lol. Hm. So there is a person with long hair and a beanie working there as well. Both the hat and eye glass man and the long haired beanie person were glaring at me. I’m like ok lol. I will wait. So after ALL OF THE PEOPLE LEFT. They let me in. NO HELLO NO GREETING NOTHING. So I am browsing the shoes. Cause I actually need a pair. And still…CRICKETS lmao. The two employees are talking amongst themselves in their language, laughing and such which is fine but still nothing was said. And I am there. Just looking lol. Being ignored. I end up leaving. Still not a word said lmao. No “bye” no nothing. I had a board i left at home which I wanted to get built. Glad I didn’t bring it. Wouldn’t want to give my money to a business like this. I will go to Vans in DTLA. Better atmosphere, great service. Interesting experience at this place to say the least. Never going back.

It’s kinda my local shop since there really isn’t anything else around montebello/East la area with good selection. The owner is OK but the other staff are helpful if you have a question they provide good help. Except the owner who seems irritated a lot. I only go because I don’t wanna order stuff online or go somewhere else further. Otherwise good selection on slot of stuff here. Go check it out and make sure you flash your $$ for the old Asian cat…
