Was planning to hike breakneck but there weren’t any parking spots. Beacon is only 5 mins away and has lot more parking available. It’s a excellent hike that will give you a nice workout and amazing views of the Hudson Valley. You will be rewarded for all your hard work with a really cool fire tower at the summit. And I literally mean cool as it can get quite chilly and windy at the top. Also after the hike check out the Hudson Valley brewery 3 mins away for some amazing beers.

About 3 miles round trip to get to where the casino once stood. Remnants of the old tram & building foundation along the trail. Hearts were pumping getting to top, but the reward was the views on top.

Came here around 11am on the weekend. It was definitely crowded but you can park on the street if the lot is full. Great hike to the fire tower, very steep going up but so worth it. The views are amazing. Recommend good hiking boots or sneakers with good grip, can be a little slippery coming down the mountain
