Captures the true beauty of nature! Usually we see zoo, aquariums, man made environments but this place is more than all of that. The fact that this place is used for actual research is stunning. The whole place is well maintained and is very entertaining. I love how the animals, birds and plants are not caged and it’s truly like walking into their habitat than creating something artificial. The aquarium is what you expect but the rain forest experience was phenomenal. The discovery pyramid was closed when I visited but still was able to experience that 3D and 4D theatre there. This place is really amazing for kids. I would suggest better items in the gift shop though , would love to have all the 3 pyramids on a stand or something like that. I wasn’t quite impressed with the gift shop but then probably that’s the case, they are open to research and learning rather than making money out of their gift shop. The parking space is really spacious and all the pyramids are at a walking distance. Definitely a site to visit!

I was told by several people from Texas to make sure we visited Moody Gardens. I was hesitant due to the price, but I’m glad we did. I had a back injury and the staff was very accommodating with getting me a wheelchair to use. The videos were fun, and my kids absolutely loved all the animals. It’s a gorgeous place, and the staff were fun and knowledgeable. Definitely a recommended place to hang out for the day as a family.

Great place. Neat wide range of attractions for whole family. I would give 5 stars, but two of the three 3d theaters did not have their machines set correctly for the 3d glasses that they gave out. We figured out that if you flip your 3d glasses upside down that it looked right then. They should have done better for this considering it’s one of their major attractions.
