Staff was courteous and professional. Even though I showed up after incorrectly booking my appointment online, they took the time to find all the suitable tires they had in stock AND give me an explanation of those options and the comparative advantages each. The waiting area was clean and comfortable (they even adjusted the A/C for the customers waiting inside) and I was directed to the outdoor waiting area when I expressed that preference. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The price I paid was the price I was quoted before the work was started, and was within my expected range. This Mavis stands head and shoulders above the other locations in this area.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. This is purely my experience but I will never recommend this place. Scheduled 10a appointment and dropped the car off at 8a – figure might help them with their day I was off that day anyway. Work was to rotate tires and front brake pads. Called a little after 12p to check and was told – next car – once lift empty it will be next. I get a call at 2:30p – where is the wheel lock key – so much for 10:30a. Apologize for not having out – say it is in the glove compartment. I get a call @ 4p – there is an issue with your tie rods and we will need to replace them… what do you mean – there is play in the tie rods – strange no driving issues prior to bringing in… How much – $300+ and change for each side – need to do both sides? We recommend both sides. Was not expecting that – please just change the pads and we will need to schedule the tie rods later. Brake repair will be $300+ – I ask for what? We need to replace the rotors. Really – told him I checked the rotors before bringing them in and they were fine. Well we recommend changing the rotors… see the theme – up selling… they may make noise – that’s okay just do the pads. Oh sorry but we do not have the pads in stock – we’ll have them tomorrow morning… – are you serious had the car all day and never even thought about ordering the pads… Finally pick the car up next day and slight shudder in the front now – was not there when I brought in. No longer trust the Mavis Tire Cold Spring – brought it to another repair shop in Fishkill and turns out the wheels needed to be re-balanced… and a drive axle replaced. The replacement of the drive axle was $100 part $110 for the install. Tires re-balanced and car drives like normal again.You choose but clearly things are not kosher and I will never use again. They wanted me to spend nearly $1,000 for my visit. CONSUMER BEWARE.Forgot to add – as they were ringing me up they wanted to charge for the tire rotation – wait that is free because I bought the tires form you. Brake pads will be $150 what the coupon says $99. That doesn’t include install – pull up on phone – Pads and Install – yeah NEVER AGAIN.Check out picts of grease on seat and door…
