It’s a nice little walk around the homestead. I think it said .4 miles. Definitely sit in the house breezeway and listen to the audio story. There’s also signs to read along the way.

Cool little place to visit! I like checking out the two longhorns they have! They don’t seem to mind when I quietly approach the fence to check them out. I am typically traveling through for work and will occasionally stop in to check things out. It’s usually very peaceful and quiet. It’s always cool to get a glimpse into a small piece of history.

This has to be one of the coolest parks I’ve gone to. They have an accurate historical representation of what it was like when the families lived there, what their Farm would have looked like and even cattle that you could get close to without getting too close to. I even had the chance 2 talk to one of the volunteers who was in charge of taking care of the Longhorns. I plan on taking my baby boy once it warms up a little bit.
