I was shopping and looking through the sales rack when sales associate (Anna Whipple) approached me and handed over a handful of bras and said “I thought you might be interested, haha”. I am a woman with fully developed assets. I did not appreciate her petty and inappropriate remarks. As a customer I want to shop in peace unless I ask for your help or concern. She furthermore denied my sweat collective discount because I was purchasing men’s clothing. I involved the assisting manager (Jason Ramirez) and he explained the policy but I’m sure no corrective measures towards her were taken. Horrible experience at this location.

I went there to return a gift I got with a gift receipt and the girl (Maurice) that helped me out told me I can only get a full refund if I have the original receipt. So I took out the ORIGINAL receipt that she asked for and then she said oh since it’s registered as a gift I can only give you a gift card. WHAT??!???? What kind of policy is that??!? Never heard of that. I asked her if she was sure and she told me I can go to other lululemons and they’ll tell me the same thing. So I went home and called customer service, which was amazing by the way, they said they never heard of anything like that. Issuing me a gift card as a last resort would only be need if I ONLY have the GIFT receipt. But I had the GIFT and ORIGINAL. I had to drive all the way back to the store, and a male associate gave me back my refund with ease! I don’t know what her problem was. He asked me if I remember who helped me out and I pointed at her. She ignored me because she knew she messed up! The guy called her over and she ignored him too. Her attitude for both of my trips were terrible, for the reputation that lululemon have, their standard of hiring and training employees is terrible. I was able to find out that her name was Maurice. I called corporate to make sure that Maurice will get what she deserved for wasting my time going back and forth, and for having a terrible attitude. And for the guy that helped me out, I hope he’ll get a raise.

There’s something off about this store or maybe I’m just cursed. I’ve been in here dozens of times and never have I been asked if I need help. The employees do spend plenty of time staring at you, however. If you actively seek someone out to help you, chances are they won’t have an answer for you. I was even sent from this store to Santa Monica because I was told that store had the item I wanted but offered it in a special LA marathon version. I get to Santa Monica… turns out he was completely wrong and it was an entirely different clothing offering. On top of poor service, they don’t get the full selection, are slow to get new products, and don’t tend to restock sizes. If this location wasn’t so convenient, I’d swear it off forever.
