All profits of Namse Bangdzo Bookstore go to support His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa’s projects and activities.

Absolutely amazing selection of books, CDs, DVDs, and Buddhist supplies for your walls and shrine. But you don’t need to be a Buddhist to shop here. Still, if you’re new to Buddhism and wanted to know where to start, ask Peter and he will skillfully recommend books suitable for any beginner. And during the Covid-19 pandemic, Peter has just been amazing! If you’re in need of something from the store and live in or are close to Woodstock, Peter will safely package the item(s) for pickup. Besides the incredible selection and great prices, is there anything else? Yes. When the bookstore reopens to the public, don’t forget to visit their downstairs space. I had visited the bookstore many times before finally visiting their downstairs space. The downstairs space has thangkas (Tibetan paintings) and statues. Their selection is really quite incredible. there’s something for any budget. Thank you Peter for all of your help!
