It was a nice day for November, so there were a lot of people.

25.MAR.2021. THIS IS ONE OF THE NICEST trails to walk in Long Island and you could also see the old mansion that used to be here don’t be afraid to get lost all the trails interconnect so you will not get lost. Every single trail connects and loops back into a circle if you have any questions please hit me up. Just be ready for a lot of people are digging up for gold so don’t be surprised if you see it an old person digging for gold and using a metal detector.

We parked at the equestrian center, didn’t see a trail marker, we winged it and had fun with the GPS.Got lost, then found the hiking trails. Nice hike, it’s good as can be for the coordinates wish it was marked where we started. If you go, start at the preserve parking lot, better idea.

Easy hike through the forest. The ruins were disappointing. Nothing grandiose, portals made of plaster, all taken over by nature in the bad way
