Love to come here off season. Not crowded. Favourite spot – Field 6. Love to ride a scooter along the boardwalk with my kid. Plenty of space for walking, sitting and enjoying the views. Nice playground. Activities for all ages 🙂

I grew up on the South Shore of both Nassau and Suffolk Counties, but have been living on the North shore for six years now and haven’t been to Jones Beach in that time. I decided to get my Covid vaccine there and was pleasantly surprised at the improvements. The roadways were well maintained and there was a bike path that was wide and we’ll protected from car traffic. Many bike riders. I didn’t see one piece of trash on the ground. This was the off season so I didn’t use any of the amenities, but the drive was thoroughly enjoyable.
