I made reservations through Kayak a few weeks in advance. I called as soon as I made it to confirm the details. I am a few months shy of being 25 and only have a debit card, which I am aware can cause up charges and more proof of residence etc. I have rented vehicles through enterprise in the past with no trouble but I wanted to make sure everything was good to go before I paid for my vacation. The woman on the phone confirmed that the price would be the same as I was quoted online since I booked through a third party. I asked what I would need if paying by debit and she said all I would need was a $500 deposit. I showed up, with my family packed in my personal vehicle ready for our vacation. The lady at the front desk told me that I would be charged an extra $27 or $28 a day for being under 25, despite what I was told. I was annoyed but I already have a week off work and a vacation that I already paid for, so what am I supposed to do. She also told me that I was denied because my credit did not meet their standards. First of all, I had no idea my credit was being run, second of all, this was not one of the qualifications that the employee had told me about over the phone. I told the woman at the desk about what the lady on the phone said and she basically told me I was lying, that no one that worked there would have told me that. I was visibly very upset and neither her or her manager were sympathetic, apologetic or offered any type of solutions, just straight up said there was nothing she could do and moved on to something else. It was a very unprofessional experience. Just go to enterprise and pay the extra money. They offered me a rental on zero notice no problem.

Made reservation online, received confirmation for 10.30amGot there 10.30am and was told that no vehicles available at the moment. But they will call me in an hour when someone returns it… no call back, called myself and was told that still nothing available and there is grace period for return up to 4 hours. Why would you make reservation and confirm it in the first place???? Save your time, find other rental services.
