Keep in mind that this review comes from someone with over a decade of experience in Customer Service Management. My server was not engaged with a customer and I was ready to purchase. The store was not busy.I knew exactly what I wanted and all he had to do was help me find it and ring it up.That would elate most servers. Maybe it’s asking too much for a server to be excited to serve, but minimally I would expect a salesperson to be glad to have a customer. In 25 years of service, prior to promotion to management, I always made the customer feel appreciated. That resulted in great success in sales. This type of exchange is the reason I shop online when I don’t have an immediate need for the product.

They have their share of good deals. Not the House of Guitars, but who is. Typical McMusicstore™️. Actually surprised not to be ignored by staff, or driven out by excessive loud shredding from a enthusiastic patron. Do not take trades there, you will get lowest offer possible. They also don’t take into account any modifications on used gear, so that $280 pickup set means nothing. Conversely, if you see a used instrument with mods for sale, it will not be figured into price. Take your vintage trades/sales to Stutzman’s or the HOG, they don’t even physically price them there at GC. They send pictures to corporate, and corporate decides what to offer you. For example your 1972 Martin worth $3000 will net you an offer of $1000/1500. Then if they don’t ship it off to another store, you’ll see it listed for $2500/3000 in the store. Sticks, picks, and strings people, anything else…….look somewhere else.
