Love the Gristmill! Aways great food and service. Today was a great unexpected visit. Tracy was our waiter he was awesome! Never had a waiter or waitress always a step or too ahead of us. Never had to ask for anything. He anticipated extra napkins, refills, to go boxes. Chicken salad was so delicious, my husband enjoyed his steak sandwich cooked medium rare to perfection. Of course the onion rings are to die for.

I don’t have anything bad to say about this awesome restaurant! Excellent food, excellent customer service and excellent views. If you have guests coming to visit from out of town, make this a spot to take them. It is nestled in a small country town filled with shops so you could definitely make a day trip. Kudos to Katie for the superb display of professionalism and representing the restaurant and Cindy for the top notch service. Thank you!!!

From beginning to end, this place was an awesome experience. The food was delicious. The drinks were fantastic. The service and the atmosphere here were top notch. If you visit the San Antonio/New Braunfels area and you don’t stop here, you’ve made a mistake.
