Must visit in LA. Amazing view and useful information about science of planet. From here, you can see the entire LA city, you can also observe the Hollywood sign and take many beautiful pictures. I visited it in the daytime and at night also, I enjoyed it all the time with family. Inside you can see free scientific exhibits, the bì telescope, that the whole family would enjoy this, kids, teens, and adults, … You might even be lucky to see them moving the telescope.Parking is so crowded and expensive. You may park far away and walk up the hill the rest of the way. So while walking inside, I should see the beautiful landscape around. Take your time meaningful.

The grounds are spectacular! Amazing views! Memorable sunsets! Parking is $10 an hour but worth it…or hike up and save some $$. Would love to come back when the telescope is open again.

One of LA’s very famous tourist attractions, Griffith observatory offers a great view of Los Angeles and you can also get the sight of the ‘Hollywood’ sign. It is Southern California’s most popular attractions. While I was there, I kept thinking about the mission of the Griffith observatory which is to inspire everyone to observe, ponder, and understand the sky.We were able to park curbside and walk 1-2 mins to get to the observatory. Nice area to walk around and look at the view. There were families with dogs and people just sitting around and enjoying the nice warm weather. We weren’t able to go inside and see the Planetarium as it was temporarily closed due to Covid-19.
