Critical: Value Just called the Geek squad here in my city. Can’t believe it would cost approx $250 above the $700 to $1200 for a new laptop to transfer files from one laptop to a new one even if you purchase the new one from Best Buy. Should be called the Geek squeezers!

Will never deal with them again and telling all my friends. I made an appointment to get cellphone battery replaced and was told it would take approximately an hr. Came to appointment and spent thirty nine minutes getting diagnostic ran on it by an incompetent clerk then was told the phone repair guy was not in so it would have to be done the following day. I went ahead and made another appointment even after my gut told me it was a mistake. Came in following morning for next appointment and after I paid, clerk mentioned it would be ready by end of day or next morning. I said no and asked for a refund, she even short changed me on my refund. I spoke with manager, he didn’t even look into completing my refund. His excuse was that they lost all but one repair guy. Is it that bad that the rest left???

Think twice about geek squad warranties they use false advertising to rope you in and then tell you your plan doesn’t actually cover the problem unless your appliance was not actually plugged into the wall outlet. What kind of nonsense is that ????
