We have made the unfortunate decision to cease normal Forte operations for a number of months. There are so many factors that weigh in on this, obviously COVID-19 being the catalyst for the ENTIRE environment we are all attempting to survive. Please stay tuned to social media as we will continue to be active on Facebook & Instagram. That’s where you will find any information regarding special events in the coming weeks & months and our eventual re-opening. We are going to miss serving you regularly and can not WAIT until we are allowed 100% occupancy and consumer spending returns to place of confidence. I’m not sure how long we will be closed for….but, I hope that we are able to serve you again at some point in 2020!

If you’re in Jamestown, NY, then Forte is a must. It is not a large space, but very cozy. Reservations are recommended, even though we were able to get a table with out one. First, I will start with the service. It was very pleasant and we greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant. Now the good part, the food was amazing! I started of the soup of the day. It reminded me of a chili with all the right notes. I had the Jambalaya Seafood Risotto and my tastebuds danced! It was so wonderfully prepared. We ended the night with a chocolate stout cake with chocolate buttercream and a chocolate ganache. It was tasty too! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.

So sorry to hear Forte is closing indefinitely. My family and I were in Jamestown from Boston last summer at the National Comedy Center and we had the great fortune to dine at Forte. EVERYTHING was spot on – the bar, the drinks, the service, our Server, the caliber of the entree’s, etc. I know Jamestown well as I was born and raised there. For Jamestown to lose a restaurant the caliber of any you would find in Boston, NYC and even Europe is a shame and a terrible loss. Best of everything to the staff and the Owner. I hope to hear soon that you have reopened again in the near future.
