Good News and Some Really Bad! We recently purchased a townhome in Palm Springs. We soon discovered that there wasn’t a lot of carpet stores in the area. We stopped buy Flooring Innovations and the salesman told us that this particular store was moving and they had some special deals on some good quality carpet. Well, it WAS a good deal (that part was true) but the problem was they called a couple weeks later (after we completely paid for it) and told us that they didn’t have all of the carpet that we paid for. Their excuse was ridiculous but they did have some of the carpet so we had 2 of our 3 room installed. Their installers were on time and very good but we never could figure out why it took them TWO WEEKS to tell us that they didn’t have some of the carpet that we ordered. OK, so we ordered some other carpet for our one remaining room but they messed up AGAIN! This time the same salesman forgot to order it and so we finally just canceled our order with them and dealt with the other major carpet company in town. WOW! What a mess! We got a Great Deal on the surplus carpet but the whole process took 5 weeks and a lot of frustration.
