FISH + CHIPS ($24 – omg) I didn’t eat this one but the price of this shocked me.

There’s a really nice view here on a sunny day, but the food is a hit or miss.If you want a hit, stick with the Crab Roll. The roll is super buttery, and the crab was very fresh.Comforting and delicious.Tomato bisque was meh. Too watery. The croutons that come with it are better than the soup itself (lots of garlic & parmesan).I would skip the fish & chips, or more accurately, the fish – it has too much batter and you can barely taste it.The chips themselves are very actually: they’re proper chips, crispy but meaty, potato wedges style, like they should be.

I have not reviewed any place since the pandemic started and to honest it is more difficult to review takeout places since this is new to many establishments and their food is best served in the restaurant. Takeout food often loses quality during transportation. However, I must give a shout out to Fish. My hub and I are on the search (starting today ) for perfect fish and chips that are crisp, crunching and delicious. Fish did not disappoint. I figured that the drive home would ruin the meal and the crust and fries would be soggy and a mushy mess. Well woo-hoo Fish have takeout fish and chips down to perfection. Crispy, favorable and if course of the highest quality. And as in the past, the staff are friendly, professional and engaging while still keeping distance. So friends, it is worth the drive and cost during a time unlike we have experienced before. Happy New Year and stay well and well fed.

It has a beautiful view, a lovely patio and staff was very nice.I wish I had liked the food more. I was so excited about having a shrimp louie salad. It was definitely my bad for not reading the menu in detail. But I never would have thought that the salad would only consist of iceberg lettuce, a hard boiled egg and shrimp. I’ve had it many times over the years at other places with romaine lettuce, cucumber, avocado, tomato, hard boiled egg and shrimp.I was so envious of the people who had the salmon salad, that salad looked so good and I was expecting mine to look like that. The clam chowder was a little weirdly chunky but it was good. The fish tacos were a little bland but they were ok.I’ll definitely go back for some cocktails and try the salmon salad and have some oysters and enjoy the view ☺️
