This family dollar here in alpine texas is closed most of the time for covid infected workers. Or covid infected distributors!! They close for like 1/2 a day to sanitize!! Do they think they will sanitize in that amount of time? I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!

Family Dollar- I cannot help but love the prices at dollar stores, this dollar store has a great selection when it comes to home decor! I love the prices on the food here as well! They have discount carts that are really nice cause you can get cereal or other household items that could have been marked for 5.00 lowered from 2.25 to 1.00! I truly love this store!I will tell you my disappointment came when an employee questioned me with a unpleasant look and tone of voice as to why I was taking photos of the store. I smiled and said, “Oh I am going to make a review of this store to put this business on google maps.” I guess some have never heard of google reviews. She exclaimed, “ YOUR GOING TO TAKE PICTURES OF THIS DIRTY STORE!” Uncomfortably I respond, “Well it is an honest review.” I was shocked, people see this store every day, yes, it is messy but it has awesome prices and a great selection of food and movie theater candy! I was 100% sure she was going to kick me out, but I don’t think I could get kicked out just for making an innocent review. It’s not like I was committing a crime, after this conversation, I left. That was just unexpected, I really like this dollar store, but I won’t be going to it anymore because I feel awkward and uncomfortable due to this employee’s irritation with me taking innocent pictures of what this store looks like. This paragraph of my disappointment could have been avoided but her demeanor and attitude was evident that she was offend that I took a photos to put them on google maps. Again, how strange, I was trying to help them gain more customers instead they lost one for sure. Over all great store, with great prices and discounts, sadly it just took one employee to kill it for me.
