One other family showed up at 1125 for the same dog I wanted.

I adopted a dog today, and I gotta say, I was very pleased with the whole process! They have you come in by appointment, which is fine. Mine was for 4:45 and I got there right on time and they got a little busy and I didnt meet the dog until 5:10, give or take. I decided pretty quickly I wanted to adopt him and the paperwork process was pretty quick. The two ladies working upfront, Sarah and Jen, were fantastic! Sarah kept apologizing for it taking so long, but it really wasnt taking very at all, and she was just so nice, answering phones, dealing with people showing up and computer/paperwork. I believe I was out of there, dog in hand by 5:40. I just thought those 2 women deserved a shout out.

Not a real big fan of their first come first serve policy. Even if you say you’re on your way right that second with the money to adopt an animal, they’ll continue to show them to other people, and someone might snatch them up before you get there. Never the less, I have gotten two dogs there this year and the volunteers that I met were extremely friendly and able to answer all my questions.

Probably the biggest waste of extorted citizen revenue since the inception of Social Security.
