This location has experienced a string of burglaries for the past few months. My unit was vandalized twice within a 8 week period. Other patrons report having their units burglarized going back a few months. Poor security measures on site: few cameras, no alarms, easy points of entry, no 24/7 on site personnel, and poor illumination/visibility (at night and on camera). Throughout this ordeal (spanning months) no measures have been taken to improve security in this location – no new protocols, devices, or systems. The process for claims and reporting has been a complete mess. The latest burglary (9/8) had at least a dozen units affected. The vandals travel by foot, climb over the gates, use hand-held/portable tools, and focus on small, valuable, items. These units are extremely easy to break into and most locks are ineffective (cylinder, disc, padlocks). Harbor PD is aware of whats going on.If you value what you store: Do not place your belonging at this locale.

I wish I could have 10 stars!! I had a huge dilemma today. Tracy Walker, at Extra Space, Wilmington, was my absolute savior. He was very patient with me as I am a new client and he explained every step we were making. We were dealing with my actual storage unit in Murietta. I had forgotten to give my daughter the keys to get into the locker. Tracy took me through the steps and reassured me that everything was going to be ok. I thoroughly recommend Tracy and the other gentleman that was there, I didn’t get his name. They are exceptional employees and I hope Extra Space gives them their due notice.
