Called in a reservation and asked what was needed. Had everything but a utility bill. After trying for an hour to find someone back home to screen shot me some of my bills they didn’t take the electric bill because it was a recipe saying it was paid. So I gave them a water bill and they wouldn’t accept it because it had an amount owed, like all bills. After driving all the way from Houston to Amarillo and them not accepting what they asked for I’ll never use them again and recommend no one use them

I reserved a standard vehicle to travel from TX to CA on 7/19/19. It took 3 rental agreements, added expenses, and a day delay of travels, which resulted in a missed shift at work, to make it home safely. The first standard vehicle that was offered to me reeked of cigarette smoke, so I declined the vehicle. The second full size vehicle was not safe to travel at night due to the front right headlight not functioning correctly. I could not see more than about10 feet in front of me without using my high beams. The Roadside Assistance agent advised me to rent a hotel room for the night since I felt that is was unsafe to return to Amarillo or drive forward to Albuquerque to switch the vehicle. He also advised me to keep the receipt. I spoke with several Enterprise employees by phone and asked them to notate the issues. Just before getting to the Albuquerque location, I also noticed that the front right tire was low in air, so I struggled to find a WORKING air pump and put the air in. The air didn’t last long and by the time I drove up to the Enterprise parking lot, the tire was flat. In speaking with management on 7/22, I found that my calls had not been documented. My family’s safety, time, and finances were jeopardized all due to lack of preparation of the vehicle.
