This review is close to a 4.5 than a 4, but nuance is hard with star ratings. This donut shop is close to where I like to volunteer and I’ve been there twice. It is clean, well maintained, and the decor is fun to look at while waiting or eating. The price is fair, (by Alaska standards, of course) and the donuts are delicious. My one tiny complaint is that I always manage to arrive just after some large order or something because I’ll see my favorite donut (regular maple) label and they’re either in low supply or gone.Granted, I’ve only been there twice now, and this is such a small problem to have. But gosh darn it! I want a maple donut! Otherwise, this place is delicious and exactly what you want from a local, low-key donut place. (Try the Chai tea, it’s lovely, if on the sweeter side).

A cute clean looking shop, looks like a nice place I would like to do my daily reading at. I just wish they had tongs to pick the donuts out with. I think it would be more convenient that way. The lady there was very helpful in helping me figure out which donuts to choose from in order tonfigure out what goes in a dozen box. If I could recommend something to them I would say they should start selling dozens of regular glazed donuts at a cheaper price than they do for there original dozens they are currently doing.
