These premium storefronts are monopolized by corporations thereby rendering local residents unable to provide local goods and services in order to support our livelihoods and the health of our city.None of this jewelry is Alaska-specific, nothing makes it special, please do not continue to buy these luxury items, they are of major financial loss to you and pass on huge profits to these corporations who continue to buy up waterfront in Alaska cities. Twenty years ago the Juneau waterfront scene was charming and rustic, authentically local, now it has completely changed for the worse. Please consider these words before further contributing to a corporation and their foreign/east-coast stockholder’s bottom line. Thank you.
