My grandmother passed away here.I’d like to think they treated her as best they could…However, on multiple occasions the hospital did not communicate with my family regarding my grandmother’s condition. My uncle had to call to follow up on the status of my grandmother before they told us she had passed… she passed away two hours prior to my uncle calling. We probably would not have been informed for another day if my uncle had not called.Covid increases payment to hospital and a dead person is worth more to a hospital than a living one. This hospital should be investigated.

Definitely about the money! Never mind your nearly dying and your blood pressure is so high it could pressurize a fire engine hose.Apparently DHR now considers these LOUNGE CHAIRS rooms. At least that’s what the 5000 dollar ER bill says.HIPPA, who cares they will talk about you and your info in front of everyone. You tell the supervisors and they talk like they got an education from the TV show GREYS ANATOMY..LOLSkip the ER, save some money and go straight to the funeral home. At least then you wont care who talks about you anymore.

Zero stars! This place is a law suit waiting to happen. The negligence and lack of knowledge that these people showed is unbelievable! My mother had a major surgery here and if we would have known she would have been given such bad treatment we would have never agreed to it, so I hope this review helps someone make the decision to seek medical treatment elsewhere. My mom had to go through this all by herself since we were not allowed to stay with her or visit due to covid so my family and I had no choice but to trust she was in good hands with the nurses that would be spending 24 hrs a day with her. You would think that someone who has made the decision to study medicine would be committed to patient care and being a well rounded, knowledgeable nurse/physician but NOPE NOT HERE! I do apologize to those that work here and really are a well rounded employee that unfortunately get summed up into this review..I do thank the few that were actually there for my mom and advocated on her behalf! But unfortunately it doesn’t make up for the overall experience and treatment my mom received. Here are only a few examples of what happened; nurses would not respond to calls for 2-3 hours after being called for assistance, lack of communication between nurses/charts not being updated properly so the next nurse would know what has or had not been done prior, lack of communication of what to expect after surgery, lack of communication on results of certain tests or scans that were performed, and one of the worst was a specific nurse almost giving my mother insulin when my mother is NOT EVEN DIABETIC! If it wasn’t for my mom asking questions about what she was doing and what she was being given the nurse would have proceeded without checking and potentially overdosed my mother with insulin. Some of you may find this review over dramatic but I assure you if it was your loved one going through this you would feel the same way. Especially having to advocate for them through phone and not in person! I truly hope this review helps others and somehow finds its way back to the hospital so that these nurses can be held accountable and learn from these mistakes. If for some reason this is a staffing issue then either make the adjustments and find more suitable employees or find the budget to hire more employees because everyone is suffering here, Your patients and employees!
