After a storm in August, we needed to have our sidewalk replaced. We contacted several businesses, Del Gallo being one. Del Gallo came highly recommended by a neighbor and they gave the most reasonable estimate. Mike assured us that although they had a backup in pool installations, he would be able to get to our sidewalk by the end of November. We accepted his quote and waited for the promised contract. After 3 weeks with no contract, we called and texted With no response. This went on for two more weeks. We finally went into the store (no one wearing masks) and the staff was apologetic saying they would get us an update ASAP. It was now the third week in November. Rather than getting an update, we got a complete lack of responsiveness once again. We tried for three more weeks to get a response asking for at least a contract so we’d have something to show the City Code Dept. should they cite us. NOTHING. We finally chose another contractor that responded immediately and started the work. Step one is complete but the final sidewalk and driveway entrance won’t be installed until next week. This means our vehicles can’t be in the driveway if we want access to them so are in the street with 24 inches of snow falling and the plows piling more on top.An honest response letting us know they just weren’t going to be able to get it done before winter would have been appreciated rather than stringing us along. This unprofessional behavior has left us with a big mess to deal with. They obviously do nice work but it isn’t worth the treatment we received.

I called and made an appointment for after 5pm and Mike was there waiting for my husband and myself to discuss having a pool installed. Not only was he professional he was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions.I do have to say wearing a mask has nothing to do with getting supplies or a pool. This is to post about their professionalism and knowledge NOT A MASK…..some people may have a health condition where it restricts them from breathing.Thank you
