Had a hernia surgery this morning performed by Dr Figh. I wish I had taken note of names so that I could thank everyone of them individually. But suffice it to say the entire staff was excellent, professional, and very friendly. I have had many IVs over the past few months due to cancer treatment which makes vein identification and establishment of a painless IV often difficult. Although it took two punctures (something very common for me) the nurse was very good. She told me to prepare for a big stick, ha, I barely felt it and it was quickly set up. The in room staff was extremely attentive and the operating room staff was great. They kept me informed of everything happening before anything was done. Well at least as long as I was awake. They made a difficult event very pleasurable. Like most people I don’t enjoy getting older and experiencing an exponential increase in doctor visits and associated surgeries. However this trip was about as enjoyable as a surgery could be made. Thank you Decatur Morgan for making my rainy day pleasurable.

I think the staff and everyone there were very nice to me and everyone. There were quite a few people there but is was well organized. I was there on March 17th. I was impressed with everyone, even the people who were coming in like me! Thank you! We are all there for a reason and very lucky to have the opportunity to even have so many medical people helping us! I feel very fortunate to have gotten my first vaccine so I can feel so much safer. Thank you all for your services..

These people are so unorganized. I had to convince them to look for the lab work. They finally listened when I said it had been sent to the lab and they called the lab and lo and behold yep it was there just like I said it was. My child is a trooper when it comes to having blood drawn so when there was a complaint about how tight the tourniquet was, I knew it was serious. And then I could tell there was pain when the needle was being pulled out. Like I said my child doesn’t complain about that.. so that was a pretty big deal to me.
